Near Raton, New Mexico he meets Alexandra Carina who will later join him in Waco where they become eyewitnesses to the Federal Government-mass media orchestration that evolves incrementally into the disintegration of order and leaves an ugly breach in the fabric of society.

Alexandra becomes barraged by information fragments, media sound bites that culminate in media-manufactured adventures produced for a voracious audience, a culture that cares less about its successes than its failures.

The truth of it all comes clear when she realizes that the mass media can only maintain output of its product with the help of the Government while law enforcement helps fatten the media product to satisfy public gluttony.
